The QMPMA congratulates Canadian Prime Minister-elect Justin Trudeau and his MPs

The Quebec Mounted Police Members’ Association congratulates newly-elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his elected Liberal MPs, who swept the House of Commons following the October 19, 2015 federal election.

Democracy has, indeed spoken, and the QMPMA looks forward to working with the newly elected MPs in order to achieve our objects — that is, a new labour relations framework within the RCMP that respects the dignity and freedoms of all RCMP officers in the wake of the landmark decision by the Supreme Court of Canada on January 16, 2015.
